Why Shave There?
Why not?
Shaving the pubic area, whether a full or partial shave and
regardless of whether you are male or female, is simply body
adornment. Really, that's all it is. It is an attempt to make
our bodies look attractive and/or different, and there's nothing
wrong with that. For some, it's a lifestyle - something they do
all the time. For others, it's a one time (or some time) fling -
a little something to spice up their sex lives.
Compare pubic
shaving to other forms of body adornment. Tattooing is both painful
and permanent, while piercing, which is at least painful, can
sometimes still be permanent. Shaving your pubic area is neither
painful nor permanent, and as these things go, it is rather mild.
Certainly it is more mild than wild. At the same time, it is no
different from shaving your armpits or legs, other forms of body
adornment.
Shaving the pubic
area is the same as getting a new hairstyle, wearing fashionable
clothing, or putting on makeup. It's something we do to make our
bodies more attractive.
Why do people
find a shaven pubic area to be such a turn-on? Perhaps the better
question would be, why do men find it be such a turn-on, because
while a large number of women think it's attractive, almost all men
are definitely attracted to it. Frankly, I think it is because we
men are visual creatures. During our evolution, men have almost
always been the hunters, and the sense used most in hunting is
sight. We like to watch. There is a reason pornography is so much
more popular with men than women. We look, we see, we like. Men just
aren't very complicated creatures - we're a collection of primal
urges.
Men want to see
what's going on, and frankly most men are rather clueless about the
details of the female anatomy. Think about it. Most men are clueless
to the point of embarrassment about how the different nasty bits
work. They're kind of like puppies because they're just plain happy
to be there, but are clueless about what to do next. We don't know
what it is you're hiding behind that bush, but we'd sure like to
know! Given the amount of time we men spend checking out women's
bodies, it's amazing how truly ignorant we are of how the female
body is laid out. Shaving is one way of exploring (and learning)
about the female body. Good time for your man to get some hands on
"beaver education."
So men, if you
are lucky enough to have a woman who will shave for you, take the
time to learn about how all the different bits work. Don't just gawk
and drool - it is an incredible opportunity to explore. Plus, it's
not like driving in a strange city, you can stop and ask for
directions. Ask your lady questions. A lot of women have never been
asked where and what feels good to them. As long as you're down
there lending a helping hand during the shaving and follow-up
maintenance process, learn something. Remember that the beaver can
be a tough place for a woman to see/shave. Offer to at least help,
if not do the whole thing (as if you have to be asked twice). A
great routine for lovers is the nightly "touch-up shave." Let her
relax and watch TV while you work on the beaver. Oh, and give her
the remote. I know that runs contrary to every fiber of your being,
but I've actually seen women that can not only use, but actually
enjoy using, a remote. Besides, shaving beaver beats
whatever is on the tube. Hell, you might even get lucky.
