This set includes a 3 oz. bottle of medical-grade,
cornstarch-based body powder for use as a dry lubricant with the
Cleancut shavers. Shake a little body powder on the beaver and
spread it around with your hand (or mustache), and the Cleancut
will glide smoothly over the skin. You don't need to use a lot
of powder, just a "dusting" will do.
After shaving you can remove
any residue using a moist (preferably warm) hand towel. If
getting dressed, you may prefer to just leave it on for its
moisture absorbing and lubricating qualities.
Many of our customers that
use the Cleancut for underarm shaving have told us that they use
this powder as an organic, non-aluminum based, one step
antiperspirant.
Please don't confuse
this with talcum powder! Talc is just ground-up rock and can
cause numerous health issues as well. We highly recommend you
avoid it.
We also include a
1/2 oz. bottle of high-grade shaver lubricating oil with a
dropper tip. Placing a drop on the inside of the foil and
spreading it around with your finger occasionally (like every
couple of weeks) is a good preventative maintenance practice
that will keep your Cleancut running like new for a very long
time.
